So I haven't said much of anything for the last few months. I think its time I started again. But really what I need to do is invest in a laptop of my own. I mean really people. I'm living in the stone age.
I've been thinking lately (thank goodness) about people and how they act based on their beliefs. Which most would think that is the reasons for their actions, but I've realized many people claim one belief but don't live it. A bit of a double standard eh? Well I just don't understand. If you say you believe that you will be thrust down to hell if you drink alcohol, but then you still drink... are they trying to tell me that they want that? It just doesn't make sense. If you don't think that is what you should be doing or what you or God wants for you... why would you blatantly choose to do the opposite?
Don't get me wrong. I've made many mistakes and it isn't easy to keep on doing what you believe. I just think if you are for something... you go for it. You put your effort towards that belief and promote it.
On another note, have you ever heard someone say... I don't believe in... abortions. I made that mistake the other day. Abortions do happen, they are a real thing. What I meant was that I don't believe abortions are the answer to becoming impregnated and not wanting the child. Maybe there are a few cases where it is the only answer. I'm all for women getting a choice... but doesn't that choice start before you are naked with a man? Us women need to take responsibility for our actions (sex). "It takes two to tango".
Dear Becca:
ReplyDeleteI love you. This makes sense.
You are awesome.
Love, Copper.
It's quite irritating when you realize that your actions don't live up to your ideals. Those can be some humbling moments for sure.
ReplyDeleteI like. :]
